Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit eve was held last night. The company officially unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Honor was also prese at this eve and iroduced its new and innovative artificial ielligence services.
According to Android Headlines, it seems that Honor may be able to beat the competition with its new AI assista. The company announced at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon eve that it will release its first artificial ielligence assista soon. This artificial ielligence assista is called YOYO, which comes in MagicOS 9 and Magic 7 series, and is very similar to Google’s Gemina or Apple’s Siri. What sets this assista apart is its impressive list of features. According to the company, apart from what AI assistas do today, YOYO Assista can take actions in apps on behalf of the user.

With a simple text message, you can ask the assista to order coffee for you. In the image below, there is an example of these orders.

Of course, the actual process of using this artificial ielligence may be differe. Honor says that artificial ielligence can remember things from your orders to suggest your priorities in future orders. Of course, this is done only “with the conse” of the user; So you can enable or disable it as you wish.
Currely, companies are working on generative AIs that can perform tasks such as ieracting with apps on your phone; For example, Motorola recely announced that it is working on a new Learning Action Model (LAM) system that can provide you with an assista that can help you order coffee or get an Uber, for example.
Unsurprisingly, AI was the focus of Qualcomm’s eve. Since 2023, the eve of the iroduction of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon chip, apart from the iroduction of the new chip, has revolved around artificial ielligence.
In this eve, Honor announced that the Magic 7 series phones will use Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was announced last night. This chip will power many flagship phones coming out later this year and next year.
