Chinova Studio startup, under the guidance of “Ehsan Nouri”, independely participated in GITEX 2023 last year. This startup studio iroduced one of its blockchain startups to Hall 8 of the exhibition, which was dedicated to blockchain-based businesses.
Chinova’s main goal in this iernational eve was networking and communicating with global investors. Setting up the couer and holding meetings in the VIP space of the exhibition provided an opportunity for the Chinova team to ieract with investors and key people in the industry. Nouri believes that these opportunities have broadened their view of global markets and provided valuable experience in the path of business growth.
At GITEX 2024, Chinova decided to participate with a differe approach. Without having a booth, two startups from this studio were se to the exhibition to go to GITEX 2024 with the aim of networking and learning. Based on last year’s experiences, this decision was designed so that startup teams can communicate with influeial people at the exhibition, receive constructive feedback, and attract customers and maybe investors, without the need to be physically prese at the booth. According to Nouri, the most importa achieveme of this presence was understanding the importance of targeted strategy and the ability to communicate effectively with iernational investors.
Among Chinova’s valuable experiences in these two years was the presence of one of their startups in the finals of the North Star division. This startup made it to the finals of the startup preseation competition and was able to ieract with judges and iernational investors. Although this startup did not win an award, the feedback it received from the judges helped the team to know its strengths and weaknesses more precisely.
This experience showed Chinova that iernational investors, especially at exhibitions like Jitex, look for a clear market focus and clear strategies, and this poi can determine the success or failure of negotiations.
Chinova plans to improve its strategies by using the experiences of attending these iernational eves and participate in similar exhibitions with a more precise and targeted approach in the future. Ehsan Noori believes that attending such eves is necessary for every startup, but this attendance must be accompanied by clear goals and iellige planning to achieve real and tangible results.
