Gemina’s role in the Google ecosystem is increasing. The code seen in the Google app shows that many of the tasks that were previously performed by the Google Assista voice assista are being converted io Gemina extensions.
According to Android Authority, previously, if a user asked Gemina’s artificial ielligence to send a message to a coact in WhatsApp or Google Messages, this service relied on the Assista voice assista to do this. But the code seen in version 15.40.31.29 of the Google app beta shows that many of these tasks will soon become Gemina’s exclusive extensions.

As you can see in the image above, Google explains that many of the tasks of the Assista voice assista will soon be transferred to the Gemini extension. Also, the activity of users in Gemina is taken io accou for things such as choosing a user to send a message. To use the Gemina plugin, you need to activate the Activity section.
Also, Gemina will soon be able to learn which application you use most to call or send messages to each of your audience. Of course, users can change any of these settings to their liking in the Activity section.
In the list of active extensions of Gemina, you can see the names of applications such as WhatsApp, Spotify and Google Messages. The WhatsApp extension is currely available to users for tasks such as sending messages or making calls to Gemina, while previously it used Google Assista.
The plugin for Google Messages works exactly the same way. According to Google, the plugin is capable of reading messages and sending them, but currely only the ability to send messages is enabled.
Also, the way the Spotify plugin works is similar to the YouTube Music plugin and it works for all users of this platform, regardless of whether their subscription is free or paid. For example, you can ask Gemina to play a certain music for you from Spotify.
