The launch of Meta AI in the EU is uncertain
The European Union is conspicuously abse from this supply list. Meta said this summer that it would not iroduce multimodal AI services in the European Union due to concerns about EU regulations. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been critical of how European regulators are handling artificial ielligence.
The report also meions that Meta AI will be available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in the UK and Australia. The launch of the service for RayBan sunglasses in the UK only includes voice support for now. Meta didn’t give a specific timeline for when UK RayBan users might get the glasses’ full multifaceted capabilities.
We have to wait and see if this AI service will be available in other couries. However, despite strong competitors such as Gemina, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc., Meta’s artificial ielligence service has a hard time attracting users.
