According to Young Jaep Kim, the head of artificial ielligence at Samsung Electronics, artificial ielligence will soon eer more dimensions of human life.
After unveiling the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 and their many AI features, Kim explained his favorite aspects of AI technology and why it’s ushering in a new era, according to Techradar. He said in an ierview:
“I think another transition that people will face in the coming year is acceptance. Today, people (mostly) occasionally use AI technology. “But in the next year, I think artificial ielligence will be deeply iegrated io every corner of our lives.”
He also said about people’s expectations and how companies look at AI:
“These days, people’s expectations of this technology are much higher than they were a few mohs ago. That’s why I think most tech companies are working hard on this. I think people will soon be able to find more advanced experiences to use[AI]because the technology brings a higher level of user ieraction. Then behind the scenes, the user experience of artificial ielligence assistas and smart devices will be very good; This is the most ieresting part I’m looking forward to.”
Samsung devices are constaly being equipped with new AI features. The emphasis on some of the camera’s AI tools is in line with some of Kim’s favorite ideas for applying AI.

Kim noted that even the most mundane use of AI can change people’s lives. He told a story about a Samsung employee from South Korea who worked in an office in Poland, married a local woman, and had to act as a translator between his pares and his wife for years. Then the Galaxy S24 came out with AI-based translation, and he bought one for each family member, suddenly solving the language difference problem.
Ultimately, Samsung’s AI manager believes that future AI tools will evolve based on people’s preferences, usage, and thoughts about the technology. He predicted that there will be a lot of personalization in the technology as AI adapts to people’s needs and how they engage with the technology.
