France, at the same time as political changes and trying to become the world leader in the field of artificial ielligence, is the first Minister of Artificial Ielligence (AI) iroduced itself. Clara Chapaz, the CEO of the state-owned startup La French Tech, has been appoied to this position.
According to a Euronews report, Chapaz posted on LinkedIn and said:
“I am delighted to be able to coinue my commitme to public action on the core issues of digital ielligence and artificial ielligence.”

Chapaz, 35, will prese his reports to the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. He has had an impressive career while managing La French Tech, and in his three-year tenure, he established the Voluary Equity Pact, which has been signed by more than 700 startups so far.
This agreeme requires companies to have at least 20% of women on their boards by 2025 and forces all managers to be trained in various issues and combating discrimination and harassme.
Prior to her appoime at La French Tech, she was the commercial director of the luxury second-hand clothing website Vestiaire Collective and launched the second-hand children’s clothing marketplace Lullaby. Additionally, Chapaz is a graduate of Harvard Business School.
France’s effort to become the ceer of artificial ielligence

Since 2022, when American startup OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT, France has also released competing AI models such as Mistral AI and H. The appoime of Chapaz as the coury’s minister of artificial ielligence once again highlights the ambitions of Preside Emmanuel Macron to turn Paris io an “artificial ielligence city”.
France will also host the Iernational Artificial Ielligence Summit next February. 2 previous meetings were held in Britain and Seoul.
