Najib Bagileh, the Preside of El Salvador, visited the Tesla headquarters to meet withElon Musk» On issues such as the role of next-generation technologies, e.g artificial ielligenceto speak in shaping the future of humanity.
Bagileh posted a video on X today of him meeting Musk at the Tesla factory in Austin, Texas. In this short clip, Musk welcomes the preside of El Salvador and shows him the Tesla factory.

Elon Musk also wrote a post about this meeting:
“I had a great conversation with Preside Najib Bagileh. “We talked about the nature of reality, the future of humanity, and how technologies like artificial ielligence and robotics will affect the world.”
El Salvador is now focusing on artificial ielligence and other technologies to generate more revenue after widely adopting bitcoin to combat its rising inflation and reduce its dependence on the dollar.
Recely, Cathy Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, predicted that El Salvador’s GDP will increase tenfold by 2029. Wood met with Bagileh in May to discuss El Salvador’s investme opportunities in bitcoin, artificial ielligence and other innovative technologies, as well as tax policy.
In the more than three years since accepting Bitcoin as legal tender, El Salvador has made more than $31 million. Baqila’s main goal of accepting Bitcoin has been to promote financial participation, facilitate more efficie remittance paymes, and attract financial innovations.
