For example, reducing the cost of production of these devices and thus reducing their selling price is one of the most importa factors in increasing demand. Also, the iegration of artificial ielligence technology in AR/VR headsets has significaly increased the features and applications of these devices and has led to their greater appeal to consumers. By designing devices with less weight and smaller dimensions, manufacturers try to make it easier for users to use these headsets. However, IDC has reported that the AR/VR headset market will experience a 28.1% decline in the second quarter of 2024. The reason for this decrease was the increase in prices and unfavorable economic conditions at the global level.
IDC predicts that the AR/VR headset market will grow from 6.7 million units this year to 22.9 million units in 2028.
