The results of the Iran Khodro lottery show that out of three million applicas, only three perce have succeeded in getting a car.
The results of the Iran Khodro lottery show that the chance of winning this lottery was very small. Among the applicas who blocked the amou of 230 million Tomans, only 2% succeeded in getting a car and the other 97% were deprived of this opportunity.
For the third time since 1401, on Saturday, thousands of applicas, referring to the Iran Khodro website, once again pinned their hopes on receiving a car. Despite holding a lottery outside the iegrated system, many applicas still did not succeed in buying a car.
Iran Khodro lottery: only 35 thousand people were lucky
On Saturday, the results of the Iran Khodro lottery were announced for regular applicas. Applicas in this lottery managed to get 30% of the 115,000 cars offered. According to the statistics published by Iran Khodro, more than three million people have registered car orders. This is despite the fact that more than one million six hundred thousand of these people are regular applicas. Out of all the registras, only 35 thousand people were lucky and the rest unfortunately did not win.
Why should some people own a car at the factory price, while others have to pocket the exorbita prices in the open market? This simple question has not found a convincing answer from policymakers for years. This unresponsiveness has led to a decrease in people’s trust in the governme and an increase in social divide.
Experts believe that the huge difference between the supply and demand of cars is an alarm for policy makers. The coinuation of this trend shows that the curre policies in the field of automobiles have not only helped to solve the problem of car shortage, but have also fueled public dissatisfaction and social frustration.
According to the announceme of Iran Khodro, the results of the lottery for special plans for mothers and owners of used cars will be known soon. In this project, 50% of the 115 cars sold will be given to mothers and 20% to the owners of used cars.
Cars available in the Iran Khodro lottery
In the meioned plan, cars such as Rera, Peugeot 207 Desti family, Tara, Ranaplus, Surenplus and Haima family and two electric cars Luna GRE and FAW Bestune NAT were made available for immediate sale and pre-sale. This project aims to facilitate the purchase of cars for real consumers and to comply with the rules of the car market regulation, and is preseed to three groups of regular customers, mothers and owners of used cars. These cars will be released by the end of 1403 and prioritization of sales will be done according to the rules of the competition council and the releva instructions.
In this plan, regular customers should first represe their accou with one of the specified banks named Iran Khodro and block the amou of 230 million Tomans in this accou. After going through these steps and between 24th and 29th of August, applicas could choose their desired product by referring to the Iran Khodro sales site.
According to Iran Khodro, the cars offered in this project will be delivered to customers in the second half of 1403. In the extraordinary sale method, the car is delivered 90 days after the payme and conclusion of the coract. But in the pre-sale method, the car delivery time will vary between 4 and 6 mohs after the deposit and depending on the type of car and the applica’s priority in the lottery. Due to the unique reception of the customers, out of a total of 115 thousand devices, 3 million and 53 thousand people have registered, of which 2 million and 245 thousand people have chosen the special sale method and 807 thousand people have chosen the pre-sale method.
