Apple has announced that it has delayed the release of some of its new artificial ielligence features that were supposed to be available to users this fall. Part of the Apple Ielligence suite of AI tools, these features allow users to create custom images and emojis.
According to Techna Technology Media mobile news service, Bloomberg analyst Mark German has reported that two importa image generation features, the Image Playground app and the Genmoji feature, have been postponed to the iOS 18.2 update. This update is also expected to be released in December. The Image Playground app allows users to create a variety of images using text descriptions. The Genmoji feature also allows you to create personalized emojis based on existing images.
The delay in the release of these features takes place while it was previously announced that the Siri voice assista will also be released with significa improvemes in the spring of 2025. The new Siri will be able to understand more complex conversations and provide more accurate answers. This decision by Apple has been taken while competitors such as Google have expanded their artificial ielligence features with the release of the Pixel 9 series phones. In addition to image generation capabilities, Pixel 9 phones also offer call summarization, screenshot organization, and the Gemini Live smart assista.
Due to the fierce competition in the field of artificial ielligence, it seems that Apple is trying to develop its products more carefully and provide high-quality features to users.
