South Korean IT solutions provider LG CNS has partnered with a Chinese AI robotics solutions company to collaborate on joi projects in domestic e-commerce order processing ceers.
According to Hoshio, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to iegrate Shanghai-based XYZ Robotics’ robot solutions with LG’s iegrated robotics operations platform.
In addition, LG CNS announced that all robot solutions offered by the new platform will be iegrated through a robot-as-a-service model. This means that customers can access and use robot devices through a subscription-based coract offered by robotics companies.
LG CNS said XYZ has excelle technology in the field of 3D vision, which is very similar to a robot’s view of the world, and in addition, XYZ has excelle capabilities in designing and manufacturing robot handles or hands. This means that XYZ has the ability to create highly functional and efficie compones that enable robots to grasp and manipulate objects.
The Korean IT solutions provider unveiled its operational platform in July, which includes real-time analysis of customer orders using digital technologies such as artificial ielligence and big data.
The warehouse execution system specified in the platform can optimize the classification of products and their moveme sequence, which helps to determine the most effective sequence for product moveme, while the warehouse corol system can closely corol, monitor and analyze the robots and analyze Overall, the combination of these systems increases the overall efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations.
Under this partnership, they have already started their first project using a robotic platform for palletizing and de-palletizing in logistics ceers.
A palletizing robot is an industrial machine that can move, arrange, and stack boxes or items on a pallet, while a palletizing robot can unload materials from a pallet, usually on a production line.
Lee Jun, Preside of LG CNS Iellige Logistics highlighted the changing landscape of the logistics automation market and stated, “The logistics automation market is undergoing a digital transformation where artificial ielligence and big data are applied throughout the processes and “It’s getting to the robot transformation stage, where robots are effectively used in every aspect of logistics operations.”
