According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by the Russia Elium network, the Ministry of Interior of Cuba announced that a boat with the American flag entered the territorial waters of Cuba and opened fire.

According to the statement of the Ministry of the Interior of Cuba, the defense forces of this country reacted with counterfire in response to this action, as a result of which four people on board the boat were killed.

In this statement, it is emphasized that this incident occurred after the violation of Cuban maritime sovereignty and shots were fired by the attacking boat.

So far, the American authorities have not reacted to this news.
