Russia’s reaction to the UN resolution on Ukraine – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Xinhua News Agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced today Wednesday in response to the UN resolution on Ukraine: Ukraine and the West are presenting an anti-Russian resolution at the UN with the aim of disrupting the negotiation process.

The statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in this regard states: The discussions held in the United Nations show that the international community is tired of the situation in Ukraine. The lack of global support for the anti-Russian resolution at the United Nations shows the split in the transatlantic community over the Ukraine issue.

Last night, Tehran time, the United Nations General Assembly approved a draft resolution that again supports “lasting peace” in Ukraine.

This resolution was approved with 107 votes in favor, 12 votes against and 51 abstentions.

America abstained and Russia voted against this resolution.
