According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Baghdad Al-Youm, a medical source in Anbar, Iraq, announced today that the number of people killed in a fatal traffic accident on the highway near Fallujah has increased to 13 people and 5 others were injured.
This source stated: This accident that happened this morning led to the death of 13 people, eight of whom were completely burned. Five other people were also injured, two of them are in serious condition.
The mentioned source emphasized: As a result of this fatal accident, three vehicles were completely burnt. The injured were taken to the emergency room of Fallujah General Hospital for treatment.
A traffic accident occurred on the Fallujah highway, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people.
On the other hand, on Wednesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the death of 8 of its forces following a road accident in Anbar province.
According to the statement of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, the “Al Jazeera” Operation Command announced: These forces belonged to the 27th Brigade Rangers in the 7th Army Division.
While expressing deep sympathy with the families of the victims, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense confirmed: In addition to 8 military personnel, a number of civilians also lost their lives in this accident.
At the end of this statement, it has been emphasized that the competent institutions are investigating the dimensions and the cause of this incident in order to take the necessary legal and administrative measures in this regard.
