According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoted by Ryanovsti, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced that a “Sukhoi-30SM” fighter of this country has crashed in the Karagandy region of Kazakhstan.
According to this report, the pilots managed to eject and survived the accident.
Sukhoi-30 fighter jets, since entering service in the 1990s in the Air Force of Russia and several other countries, have faced several accidents along with a positive operational record. The Sukhoi-30, developed on the basis of the Sukhoi-27, is a two-seater multi-role fighter with the ability to perform interception, air superiority and ground attack missions.
Over the past years, there have been reports of this plane crashing in the operating countries, including Russia, India, China, Indonesia, and Algeria, whose reasons were a combination of technical defects, human error, adverse weather conditions, or accidents during training flights.
