According to the Mehr news agency, citing Tass news agency, the Norwegian iNyheter website reported, quoting an informed source, that Thorbjorn Jagland, the former Prime Minister of Norway and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, who was under investigation regarding the release of documents related to the case of Jeffrey Epstein, a famous American trafficker and sex offender, committed suicide.
According to this media, the incident happened a week ago.
This politician was admitted to the hospital and is currently in a critical condition.
Earlier, investigators from Norway’s National Agency for the Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crimes searched Torbjörn Jagland’s house and other properties belonging to him.
