Revival of the American project under the Jolani banner; The emergence of ISIS leaders in Raqqa – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, citing Al-Sumaria News, while the security elements of the Abu Mohammad Jolani regime in Syria claim to be fighting ISIS forces in this country, the free movements of a number of old leaders of ISIS in the city of Raqqa have aroused public surprise.
According to this report, from the behavior of these well-known people and their dispersion within the city, it appears that this group is pursuing tasks within the framework of its own security structure, which has aroused the concern of the city’s residents.
Among the most important names identified in Raqqa, we can mention Sufyan al-Qasham (Sufyan al-Naimi), Faisal al-Balawi and Salem Turki al-Amari (Abu Saddam al-Ansari).
According to Al-Sumaria News, a large number of Daesh members and their families were able to escape from the prisons of the SDF after the recent clashes between the Kurdish Democratic Forces (SDF) and the militias of the Jolani regime. On the other hand, the activity of this terrorist group has greatly increased after the withdrawal of American forces from their bases in northeastern Syria and the resulting vacuum.
Although the conflict between the security forces of the Jolani regime and the Kurdish groups, as well as the withdrawal of American forces from some of their bases in the region, has caused the revival of ISIS, this group claims to start its campaign against the Jolani regime.
The city of Raqqa, located in the northeast of Syria, was the capital of the ISIS terrorist group and its main base in Syria between 2017-2014.
