Is there a civil war in the occupied territories? – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Arabi 21, many political and security circles in the occupied territories, pointing out that the Zionist regime is currently moving towards the abyss, believe that there are many signs for this, the latest of which was the attack of the Zionist extremists on a number of Zionist judges and insulting them.
Eyran Shalio, an American historian in the history department of Haifa University, stated that the act of a right-wing activist with a criminal record in stopping the car of Aharon Barak, the former head of the Israeli Supreme Court, shows that in Israel, the way has been opened for the language of intimidation and threats to symbols of power in a political atmosphere that is accompanied by severe divisions.
In an article published in Yedioth Aharonot newspaper, this Zionist writer added that such events that Tel Aviv is witnessing, at the same time as the gap between the political camps and the general atmosphere of society intensified, revealed the depth of polarization in the occupied territories.
Shalio further mentioned the shock of these developments on social networks and added that far-right activists welcomed this attack and none of the far-right personalities condemned this action, which shows that Tel Aviv is moving towards the abyss.
He warned of the possibility of civil war in the occupied territories and added that civil wars do not start overnight with armed battles between extremist camps, but they start when large groups in society stop recognizing the governing institutions and their political opponents.
