Jordan: Our soil will not be used against Iran – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Anatolia news agency, the Kingdom of Jordan TV has announced that an official of the country stated in an interview with the New York Times newspaper: “The soil of Aden will not be used to attack Iran.”

He, whose name was not mentioned, added: Jordan hopes that the ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran will lead to a political agreement that will keep the region away from war.

According to this report, Jordanian TV also quoted other unnamed officials as saying that these people told the New York Times that the US military presence in Jordan is carried out within the framework of defense agreements between the US and Jordan.
