According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Anatoly, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara hopes that the US and Iran will reach a solution to the current crisis between them through negotiations and without the need for military action or war.
After the first meeting of the Peace Council in Washington, Fidan emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations between the two countries and said: “There are many reasons for optimism.” We hope that an agreement will be reached regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
He further added: On the other hand, there are also military movements and we are closely following whether these movements are carried out with the aim of putting pressure on the ongoing negotiations or are preparations for military operations that have already been decided.
The Turkish Foreign Minister further said: But how and when these signs will be turned into practical measures and what will the parties think about it and how will it guide their decisions in the next stage? We are now at the same critical threshold.
