Kremlin: Russia and China have not conducted any nuclear tests – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Anatolia news agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia and China are still committed to stopping nuclear tests.
At a press conference in Moscow, Peskov rejected US claims against Moscow and Beijing that they violated a decades-long moratorium on explosive nuclear tests.
Dimitri Peskov emphasized: This is not true. Neither the Chinese nor the Russians have violated it. Beijing also categorically rejects such accusations and remains committed to stopping nuclear tests.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that Moscow is interested in cooperating with Washington, but US sanctions prevent interaction.
He said: Sanctions, which of course we consider illegal, hinder commercial and economic interaction between Russia and America. We are interested in its development. Potentially, many projects could be on the agenda, but to achieve this, we need to revive our relationship.
In response to a question about the blockade of Cuban fuel by the US, Peskov added: We have bilateral relations with Cuba; These relationships are very important to us and we are developing them in every possible way.
