According to Mehr news agency, “Jiang Bin”, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of China, said: “The People’s Liberation Army of China will destroy any pro-independence armed forces of Taiwan that dare to provoke the start of war.”

Earlier, the “Taiwan News” newspaper reported that Taiwan’s armed forces plan to deploy American Himars systems in the remote islands of Penghu and Dongyin.
