Russia’s emphasis on the realization of a comprehensive strategic agreement between Tehran and Moscow – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, citing Tass news agency, the Ministry of Energy of Russia announced today Monday after the meeting between the Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev and Iran’s ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali that Moscow and Tehran plan to sign agreements on trade and economic cooperation at the meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran from February 16 to 18 (27 to 29).
Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev said after meeting with Iran’s ambassador to this country, Kazem Jalali: As part of the upcoming intergovernmental commission, we are focused on achieving specific results in the form of signed documents and agreed decisions that will facilitate the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed by the heads of our countries.
The Russian Energy Ministry added in its statement that during the meeting, reports from representatives of government agencies and businesses will be presented on a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, transportation, healthcare, education, as well as science and technology.
