The foreign ministers of Türkiye and the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed the developments in the region – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Apa Az, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced on Sunday the telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, Jihon Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan.

In the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it is stated in this regard: The ministers discussed cooperation within the framework of bilateral relations between Baku and Ankara, joint efforts in international organizations and multilateral frameworks, as well as the regional security situation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan added: In addition, the parties exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East (West Asia), the process of normalization of relations between (the Republic of) Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as other issues of interest to the parties.
