Trump’s deputy travels to the Caucasus region – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to the report of Mehr news agency, quoting from the information base of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “J. D. Vice President Vance will visit Milan in Italy, Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from February 9 to 11, 2026.

Jacob Helberg, the US Deputy Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, also accompanies Vance on his trip to Italy and the Caucasus.

Vance will first travel to Milan, Italy to watch the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

According to the information base of the US Department of State, Vance’s trip to Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan is in line with the promotion of the transit route known as the “Trump Route”.

The American Embassy in Armenia also announced: Vance will travel to Armenia on February 9 and leave for Azerbaijan the next day.
