Russia and China emphasize on the expansion of joint relations in the shadow of global tensions – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to the report of Mehr News Agency, quoted by Russia Elium, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized in a video conference with his Chinese counterpart: relations between the two countries are a factor of stability in the shadow of the current tensions in the world.

He added: Economic cooperation between Russia and China during 2025 was moving forward in a stable manner. The value of bilateral exchanges reached more than 200 billion dollars for three consecutive years. The relations between the two countries are growing regardless of the current world conditions.

Putin also called the Chinese president a dear friend and mentioned the cancellation of visas for Russian citizens. The Russian president said that the cooperation between the two countries is exemplary.

He stated: Russia is ready to continue its close coordination with China regarding regional and global issues. The Russian-Chinese alliance plays a leading role in the United Nations, the BRICS group, and the Shanghai Organization.

Chinese President Xi Jinping also said to his Russian counterpart: The two countries should develop a comprehensive plan to expand bilateral relations.

He said: relations between Russia and China have entered a new stage of growth and development.
