According to Mehr news agency, citing al-Arabi, news sources reported the continuation of the war between the forces of General Abdul Fattah al-Barhan, the commander of the Sudanese army, and the forces of General Hamidti, the commander of the rapid reaction forces in Sudan.
News sources announced that the Sudanese army forces have targeted the positions of the Rapid Reaction Forces in the city of Zalanji in Darfur.
The Sudanese Air Force targeted the positions of the Rapid Reaction Forces at Nyala Airport in South Darfur.
A source affiliated with the Sudanese army announced that these attacks targeted weapons and ammunition warehouses as well as fuel tankers.
This source stated that this operation is carried out in line with the efforts of the Sudanese army to weaken the military capability of the rapid reaction forces.
Eyewitnesses around the airport announced that they heard the sound of successive explosions and saw a column of smoke rising from inside the airport.
