Türkiye: We firmly oppose foreign intervention in Iran – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Apa Az, the spokesman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party, Omar Celik, announced in a speech today that Ankara is firmly opposed to any foreign interference in Iran.
The spokesperson of the ruling Justice and Development Party of Türkiye then noted that foreign interventions against Iran cause serious concerns and Türkiye is firmly opposed to them.
Omer Chelik further added that throughout history, such interventions have failed.
He said: We are following the situation in Iran with great concern. We firmly oppose any foreign intervention in Iran. This would be very wrong. Both the direct foreign intervention and the coup attempt through foreign intervention will have very serious and problematic consequences. The will of the Iranian people must be respected here. This has been tested many times. Any foreign intervention leads to very serious consequences. Targeting heads of state, as in the case of Venezuela, or trying to change governments by force of arms has never been the answer anywhere in the world. On the contrary, such actions bring bigger problems and crises.
