According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Mayadin, the US Senate passed a resolution that prohibits the President of this country, Donald Trump, from carrying out further military actions in Venezuela without the authorization of Congress.
According to this report, the US Senate, with 52 votes in favor against 47 votes against, approved the war powers resolution aimed at limiting the use of armed forces against Venezuela.
On January 3, the United States invaded Venezuela, kidnapped the legitimate president of the country, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, and put them on trial in the United States.
