German President: We must prevent the world from becoming a “den of thieves” – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadeen, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in words that seem to be referring to the US military aggression against Venezuela: Global democracy is currently under attack more than ever before.
While criticizing the policies of the American government, the German president added: “Now we are witnessing the collapse of values from our most important partner, the United States, which helped create this world order.”
The problem is to prevent the world from becoming a den of thieves, where the most unscrupulous take whatever they want, said Steinmeier, who was also the former German foreign minister.
In another part of his speech, he warned: The world is becoming a place where entire regions or countries are treated as the property of a few superpowers.
