According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadeen, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in words that seem to be referring to the US military aggression against Venezuela: Global democracy is currently under attack more than ever before.

While criticizing the policies of the American government, the German president added: “Now we are witnessing the collapse of values ​​from our most important partner, the United States, which helped create this world order.”

The problem is to prevent the world from becoming a den of thieves, where the most unscrupulous take whatever they want, said Steinmeier, who was also the former German foreign minister.

In another part of his speech, he warned: The world is becoming a place where entire regions or countries are treated as the property of a few superpowers.
