According to Mehr news agency, citing Yemeni Al-Masirah, the protesters chanted slogans and emphasized that Somalia is a single and indivisible country and any attempt to impose a new political reality through illegal recognitions will be opposed by the people and the government.
The participants in this gathering announced that the recent action of the Zionist regime is considered to be an obvious interference in the internal affairs of Somalia, and it is in line with the implementation of foreign plans to destabilize security and peace in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea region.
Demonstrators also called on the federal government of Somalia to take a firm stance against this action and to prevent any attempt to divide the territory of Somalia in the political, diplomatic and legal fields.
They also asked the international community and regional institutions to respect Somalia’s sovereignty and reject any unilateral confessions contrary to international laws and resolutions.
Somali media reported that these protests reflect the broad popular consensus against separatist plans and the Somali public opinion considers any presence or influence of the Zionist regime in the country as a direct threat to national security and the security of the region.
