America sanctioned two judges of the International Criminal Court
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Thursday the imposition of sanctions against two judges of the International Criminal Court from Georgia and Mongolia for what he called the “illegal prosecution of Israeli nationals”.
According to RCO News Agency, Rubio wrote in a statement: “Today I am sanctioning two judges of the International Criminal Court, Gocha Lordkipanidze from Georgia and Erdenebalsuren Damdin from Mongolia, according to Executive Order 14203 under the title “Implementing sanctions against the International Criminal Court”.
He said: “These individuals have directly participated in the Court’s efforts to investigate, detain, detain or prosecute Israeli nationals without Israel’s consent, including by voting in line with the majority in favor of the Court’s ruling against Israel’s appeal on December 15.”
