Ebrahim Al-Mousavi became the head of media relations of Lebanon’s Hezbollah – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, Al-Akhbar newspaper, a media organ close to Hezbollah in Lebanon, announced that in the framework of making changes in Hezbollah’s organizational body after the recent war, Hezbollah’s leadership council, which is the highest authority in the party’s decisions, approved a resolution to form a new department to manage media files in Hezbollah.
According to this resolution, which was notified to the relevant officials a few days ago, a delegation headed by Ibrahim Al-Mousavi, a member of the Lebanese Parliament, will be formed, and its members will include representatives from all Hezbollah media institutions, including radio, television, electronic media, and Hezbollah’s public relations unit.
According to available information, the said department is directly under the supervision of Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah, and this process will continue until the next decision is made whether it remains in this framework or turns it into a new central council.
Another decision of the Hizbullah Leadership Council was to grant this board extensive powers to restructure and streamline media institutions and develop a new strategy for media interaction inside and outside the country. According to this resolution, the officials of media institutions must have expertise in the same field and avoid choosing leaders from other sectors in this field.
