According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement congratulated the 38th anniversary of the founding of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) with a statement.

The statement of Islamic Jihad states: We congratulate the 38th anniversary of the establishment of Hamas. The establishment of the Hamas movement created a turning point in the history of the struggle of the Palestinian people.

In the continuation of this statement, it was emphasized: The formation of the Hamas movement created a decisive turning point in the history of the conflict with the occupiers and gave great momentum to the resistance in Palestine to confront the plans that are carried out with the aim of destroying the Palestinian cause.

The Islamic Jihad statement was issued while Khalil al-Hiya, the head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, said today during a speech on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the establishment of this movement, that Hamas emphasizes joint cooperation with Palestinian groups with the aim of achieving national unity and will remain firm on the path of resistance and freedom of Palestine.
