The closure of the border crossings between Cambodia and Thailand – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing Al Mayadeen, the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia announced that entry and exit from all border crossings with Thailand has been completely suspended.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Thailand said that there is no need for a ceasefire agreement with Cambodia.
Meanwhile, the Cambodian Ministry of Defense, in a statement published yesterday, accused Thailand of “armed aggression and targeting civilian areas” and announced that the country’s forces will stand against what it calls “aggressive actions”.
On the other hand, by rejecting these accusations, the Thai army announced that it acted within the framework of the “right to legitimate defense” of its sovereignty and national security.
