According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the German Foreign Ministry issued a statement and announced that Berlin “decisively” opposes Israel’s decision to build more than 750 new settlement units in the West Bank.
In this statement, it is emphasized: settlement building violates international law and Security Council resolutions and weakens the two-state solution.
The German Foreign Ministry also demanded an immediate stop to the construction of settlements I see and declared: We do not accept any formal or actual annexation of Palestinian lands.
In the end, this ministry noted: We will not recognize any change in the borders of June 4, 1967, except with the agreement of both sides.
The Cabinet of the Zionist regime on Friday approved the construction of 19 new Zionist settlements in the West Bank and declared this act of aggression and occupation legal.
