Araghchi’s arrival in Baku – ISNA

According to RCO News Agency, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Baku, the capital of this country, on Sunday at the head of a political delegation to meet and consult with the authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In his press conference today and in response to a question about Araghchi’s trip to Baku, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ismail Beqaei, said: The Foreign Minister will visit Azerbaijan today and tomorrow he will hold talks and consultations with the Foreign Minister and the President of this country.

Baqaei continued: Our relationship with Azerbaijan is important. We are two neighboring and co-religion countries that have many historical partnerships, so our effort is to expand the relations between the two countries and strengthen understandings in the Caucasus region.
