Macron’s claim; Russia is not looking for peace
While referring to pressure on Russia, the French president claimed that this country “does not seek peace” during the Ukraine crisis.
According to Isna, French President Emmanuel Macron announced his upcoming trip to London on Saturday evening and claimed on the X social network: “Russia is caught in the path of escalating tensions and is not looking for peace.”
Macron continued this post: “I strongly condemn last night’s massive attacks on Ukraine, especially its energy and railway infrastructure. “We must continue to put pressure on Russia to force it to choose peace.”
Referring to his future plans, the French President said: “I will travel to London on Monday to meet with the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Great Britain and the Chancellor of Germany to review the current situation and negotiations within the framework of US mediation.”
Emmanuel Macron added: “Ukraine can count on our unwavering support. This is the main goal of the efforts we have made in our coalition. We will continue these efforts with the Americans to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, without which no strong and lasting peace will be possible; “Because what is at stake in Ukraine is the security of the whole of Europe.”
