The failure of the French military to shoot down drones flying over a base

According to Isna and quoted by Le Figaro, nuclear submarines equipped with ballistic missiles are stationed in this base, which form part of the French nuclear deterrent forces.

French forces fired at five drones but failed to shoot down any of them.

A similar incident was reported in the Netherlands at the end of November.
