Putin thanks Modi for efforts to resolve Ukraine crisis
The President of Russia thanked the Prime Minister of India for his efforts towards a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine war.
According to RCO News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who visited India, after his informal meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, which lasted more than 2 and a half hours according to the Kremlin, today (Friday) held his official meeting with Modi at his official residence known as the Hyderabad Palace in New Delhi.
Following the face-to-face meeting between Putin and Modi, their extensive meeting will be held with the presence of delegations from the two countries.
According to “Ryanovsti” report, during today’s meeting, Putin thanked the Prime Minister of India for inviting him to visit his country and the very good meeting he held yesterday evening, and said he is confident that his visit will lead to good results.
The President of Russia said that he informed the Prime Minister of India on the developments related to Ukraine in the meeting on Thursday.
Putin noted: “Dear Prime Minister and dear friends, first of all I would like to thank you for your invitation and for yesterday’s very good meeting and your friendly and at the same time very useful and fruitful conversation.” “We found this opportunity and you gave us this opportunity to talk in detail about what is happening in the axis of Ukraine.”
The President of Russia noted that he also informed Modi about the efforts of Russia and the United States for a peaceful resolution of the war in Ukraine and thanked the Prime Minister of India for his efforts to resolve this war.
The Prime Minister of India also noted that he is sure that his meetings with Putin in New Delhi will be successful and emphasized the historical importance of Putin’s visit to his country.
