Iran’s ambassador to Türkiye and the governor of Istanbul, while pointing to the good relations between the two neighboring countries, emphasized on increasing trade exchanges.
According to Isna, Mohammad Hassan Habibolazadeh, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Türkiye, met with Daud Gul, the governor of Istanbul Province, on Thursday.
In this meeting, which was held at the Governorate of Istanbul and with the presence of Ahmad Mohammadi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul, the provincial cooperation, especially the use of the sisterhood capacity of Istanbul with the cities of our country, was discussed and the areas of mutual cooperation were discussed.
In this meeting, the ambassador of Iran, while pointing to the good relations between the two neighboring countries, Iran and Turkey, pointed to the existing capacities of the two countries in the economic, commercial, cultural and tourism fields and expressed hope that the amount of exchanges between the two countries would increase.
In this meeting, the governor of Istanbul also listed the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of Türkiye’s most important neighbors and emphasized the increase of trade exchanges between the two countries and considered it practical.
