Trump’s officials say they have no disagreement over the Ukraine plan
The vice president of the United States and the secretary of foreign affairs of this country denied the report of the NBC network that there is a long-standing difference between the two officials regarding the peace process in Ukraine.
According to RCO News Agency, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote on the X social network (Twitter): “This story is just the latest example of a long series of 100% fake News reports that claim there is a disagreement within the Trump administration over how to end the war in Ukraine.” “These people not only make mistakes, but literally take everything out of themselves.”
According to the Ryannews news agency, J.D. Vance, the vice president of “Donald Trump”, republished Rubio’s statement on his user account and added: “The media is lying to distort the president’s agenda.”
NBC News, citing its sources, reported that the political rivalry between Rubio and Vance is intensifying ahead of the 2028 presidential election, where both could compete for the Republican Party nomination.
The news network claimed that Vance and Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, believe that the Ukrainian government is the main obstacle to achieving peace in the country and, therefore, should be pressured to make more concessions.
At the same time, Rubio and some other officials reportedly believe that pressure on Russia, including through sanctions, should be used instead.
