The strong attack of the UAE on General Abdul Fattah al-Barhan, the commander of the Sudanese army – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, citing Al-Arabiya, the UAE accused General Abdul Fattah Al-Barhan, the commander of the Sudanese army, of throwing stones on the road to peace in Sudan.
Reem Al Hashemi, the UAE’s Minister of International Cooperation, said: General Al Burhan once again opposed all peace efforts by opposing the American peace plan for Sudan. The people of Sudan are paying the price.
He accused General Al-Barhan of opposing the ceasefire and considered him an obstacle to peace in Sudan.
This Emirati diplomat said: The United Nations has considered the situation in Sudan to be the worst humanitarian disaster of the new era. Aid is used as a weapon and civilians are deliberately starved.
Reem Al-Hashemi emphasized: The unity of regional and international efforts is very important in stopping the tragedies against civilians. A process must be followed to witness a safe, integrated and livable Sudan.
It should be mentioned that earlier, Abdul Fattah Al-Barhan, the commander of the Sudanese army, stated: If the UAE is part of the quadrilateral group, Sudan believes that the quadrilateral group is not working, especially since the whole world has seen that the UAE supports the rebels against the Sudanese government.
He emphasized that it is not possible to accept it as a mediator in this crisis.
Al-Barhan said: The narrative promoted by Masad Boles, the senior advisor of US President Donald Trump on Arab and African affairs, about the Brotherhood’s dominance within the army is nothing but a scare tactic, and talking about the presence of the Brotherhood in the military establishment is incorrect and false.
The commander of the Sudanese army considered the four-way plan to be the worst offer; Because he canceled the presence of the armed forces and demanded the dissolution of all security agencies and the remaining of the pseudo-rebels in their areas.
He emphasized: “No one can impose Hamdok and Hamidti” on us. We are concerned that Massad Boles is an obstacle to the peace that all Sudanese people want. Boles threatened and said that the government prevented humanitarian convoys from entering and used chemical weapons.
The commander of the Sudanese army emphasized his determination to continue the fight until the destruction of the rapid reaction forces and added: We do not want war and we are not against peace, but no one can threaten us or dictate conditions to us.
Al-Barhan considered the presented plan to be the worst plan and added: We do not consider this plan to be neutral. The American envoy seeks to dictate his own terms.
