According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al-Mayadeen, Mahmoud Qomati, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s political council, said in a statement in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against Lebanon: “There is no other way but to stick to the option of resistance, and the continuation of these aggressions is not acceptable in any way.”

Qamati added: Hezbollah is coordinating with the Lebanese government to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime in order to preserve Lebanon’s security and sovereignty..

He added: “Today’s attack on Dahiya is crossing the new red line and the green light of America to intensify the attacks.”

Qamati said: Jihadi personality has been targeted and his name will be announced later. After today’s attack, all possibilities are available and the command will take the appropriate decision. Today’s attack targeted a prominent jihadist commander.
