Declaring the invalidity of the Cairo agreement, the result of the coercive measures of the West

According to Isna, the anti-Iranian resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which was presented by the western countries of England, France, Germany and the United States, was approved on Thursday without consensus.
This resolution was approved with 19 votes in favor, 12 abstentions and three votes against, and subsequently, the countries of Iran, Russia, Belarus, China, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Zimbabwe issued a joint statement at the meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, condemning the attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime on nuclear facilities under the protection of Iran and the attempt to pass a new anti-Iranian resolution, and asked the member countries to stop politicizing the nuclear program. Let Iran stand peacefully.

After the approval of the anti-Iranian resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, “Hossein Noushabadi”, Director General of Laws and Parliamentary Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said in an interview with ISNA: “This statement was issued with the pressure of the Western-Hebrew axis and without regard to the continuous cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Agency, and has once again accused Iran of not adhering to the obligations of Padelmani.”
He added: “Unfortunately, in this anti-Iranian statement, there is no mention of the illegal aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, even though these facilities have been continuously inspected by the inspectors of the Agency.”

Noushabadi considered this resolution to be of no legal value and non-binding and emphasized that “with this action, the Board of Governors showed disregard for Iran’s goodwill and positive and constructive interactions and distorted the credibility and independence of the Agency and disrupted the process of interactions and cooperation between the Agency and Iran, and therefore the official letter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the termination and invalidation of the Cairo Understanding is the forced result of the political behavior of the three European countries and the United States in the United Nations Security Council is.”
The Director General of Parliament and Laws of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added in the end: The officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously warned that they will not remain silent against the political and destructive and hostile approach of the three European countries and the United States and will take countermeasures.
According to Isna, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced immediately after the approval of the resolution in the Council of Governors that Iran had sent an official letter to Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the Agency, announcing the invalidity and termination of the Cairo Agreement.
Araghchi and Grossi had reached an agreement in Cairo on the 18th of Shahrivar, with the mediation of Badr Abdul Ati, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, on the code of conduct for cooperation and monitoring of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Iran had threatened to react to any hostile action of the West in the agency.
