According to the Sputnik News agency, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army emphasized: “Military units of the joint group of Russian forces will continue to perform their duties for the liberation of the regions of Donetsk, Liechtenstein, Kherson and Zaporizhia.”
Gerasimov added: “Russia’s southern group has taken full control of the eastern and southeastern parts of Kostyantinyuk and has begun clearing the center.”
In the continuation of his report, he stated: “More than 80% of the territory of Vochansk came under the control of Russian forces. “Russian forces continue to perform their tasks and advance in almost all directions, and the Russian Armed Forces also build on the successes achieved during the spring and summer operations.”
The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces noted: “The forces of the Central Group of the Russian Army continue to destroy the besieged Ukrainian units. “On the other hand, massive attacks against the facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, the facilities of the Ukrainian fuel and energy complex continue.”
“The Vostok Group continues to actively expand its control zone in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, bypassing the enemy’s main defense lines and advancing westward,” Valery Gerasimov said.
