America again imposed sanctions against Iran
In continuation of its hostile actions against Iran, Washington placed several individuals and institutions under sanctions.
According to RCO News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Treasury of the United States claimed in statements that “the shipping networks responsible for financing Iran’s destructive activities through the sale of oil and an airline company and its affiliated companies” were sanctioned.
The US State Department announced that it has placed 17 individuals, entities and ships in the sanctions list in several countries, including India, Panama and Seychelles, which it claims are involved in the sale of Iranian oil and petroleum products.
At the same time, the US Department of Treasury sanctioned 41 individuals, entities, ships and aircraft in different countries and claimed that it “intensifies its efforts to counter the export of Iranian oil and petrochemical products and disrupts financial flows and commercial factors that support Iran’s destructive activities.”
In its hostile statement, the US State Department said, “The United States remains committed to the implementation of the presidential memorandum that ordered maximum pressure on Iran to deprive it of the resources it needs to continue its destabilizing activities.”
