The provisions of the Security Council resolution that was approved about the Gaza Strip – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, this resolution welcomed the establishment of a “Peace Council” to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza until the end of the reforms in the Palestinian Authority.
In the resolution, it is emphasized that the end of the reforms in the self-governing organizations and the progress in the reconstruction process can provide the basis for the determination of the destiny and the formation of the Palestinian state.
The resolution emphasizes the necessity of resuming aid to Gaza and calls for cooperation with the “Peace Council” and ensuring that this aid is used only for peaceful purposes.
The said resolution says that the participating countries and the “Peace Council” can establish operational institutions with international powers to administer the transitional government.
Based on According to this resolution, operational institutions will operate under the supervision of the “Peace Council” and their financing will be done through voluntary contributions and donor institutions.
The resolution asked the World Bank and other international financial institutions to support the reconstruction of Gaza and create a fund for this purpose.
The resolution calls for the establishment of a temporary international stabilization force in Gaza, which will operate under the unified command and with the coordination of Egypt and (the) Israeli regime.
According to this resolution, the tasks of the Stabilization Force include the disarmament of the Gaza Strip, the protection of Palestinian civilians and the training of the Palestinian police force.

This resolution stipulates that as the Stabilization Force’s control over the affairs progresses, the Israeli army will withdraw according to the agreed criteria and timetable.
The said resolution asked the governments and organizations to provide financial, logistical and human support to the “Peace Council” and the Stabilization Force in Gaza.
Based on This resolution requires the “Peace Council” to submit a written report to the Security Council about the progress of affairs in Gaza every six months.
This resolution has set the end of 2027 as the deadline for the end of the “Peace Council” mission and the international civilian and security presence in the Gaza Strip.
