According to Mehr news agency, citing Anatolia news agency, the demonstration against the security policies of the Mexican government turned violent in the country’s capital and according to media reports, 20 people were injured.

It has been claimed that the demonstration, which was attended by students, farmers, representatives of opposition parties and many citizens, was organized to protest the violence and insecurity caused by organized crime that has affected the country for years.

Protesters have also used the murder of Carlos Manzo, the mayor of Uaropan in the state of Michoacán on November 1, 2025 during the “Festival of Light” as their excuse.

Pointing out that the change of government has not improved security, the protesters demanded that the victims of the violence not be forgotten.
