French Foreign Minister: America’s actions in the Caribbean are a violation of international law – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Reuters, Jean-Noel Barro, who spoke on the sidelines of the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in Canada, warned that the recent US military operation in the Caribbean Sea is against the principles of international law.

He added: Paris is following these movements with concern, because this area is home to more than one million French citizens, and any tension could endanger their security.

The United States has so far carried out at least 19 attacks against vessels suspected of drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific coast, which has resulted in the death of 76 people.
